2. Ordered: When a user places a request for the specific book, the status turns to 'Ordered'. This means no other user can borrow the same during this period.
3. Issued: This status comes to forefront when a requested book by a user is accepted by the Library. Simply to say, the specific book is borrowed.
4. Lost: It simply means book is not available in the stack.
5. Under Maintenance: Book is held back for maintenance purpose due to damage.
Circulation Terms:
The listed terms are applicable when a specific asset is in transaction. The status can be viewed from user's circulation tab.
1. Reading: This status turns in from the moment when a user's request for the book has been accepted by the Library.
2. Requested: An order has been placed for a specific book which is yet to be accepted or rejected from the Library. It stays so as long as the Library processes the request.
3. Returned: This status confirms the successful return of a borrowed asset by a user upon verification & check-out process from the Library.
4. Overdue: It is a warning sign for a user to remind user's non-compliance & due for specific book against which user has withheld.
5. Extended Request: A request placed by a user for a borrowed book which is due for a single term; likes to extend its validity for a second term; which is yet to be processed by the Library.
6. Extended: This occurs when a user's request for term extension has been granted by the Library upon user request.
7. Wish List: Its a managed list of books by a user for future reading.
8. Reissue: This is a informal term used when a user wants to extend the validity of a borrowed book.
9. Rejected: When a placed order or an extension for second term has been invalidated by the Library, this status occurs.
